Job summary

Converge Strategies, LLC is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support financial operations, invoicing, and project accounting for government contracting work. The role collaborates with management, the internal finance team, and outsourced accounting partners in a fully remote or hybrid setup.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of GovCon ERP systems and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, or bookkeeping.
• Experience with GovCon ERP systems (Unanet/Deltek) preferred, with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project setup, tracking, and onboarding workflows.
• Monitor project margins and financial health.
• Routinely reconcile project data to maintain alignment.
• Assist PMs with basic financial, tracking, and system questions.
• Prepare JV contract status reports and variance analyses.
• Maintain corporate cash flow models and projections.
• Process accounts payable with outsourced firm; review expense reports.
• Assist in AR: invoicing, aging, and reconciliations.
• Support state tax registrations and DCAA compliance activities.
