Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years in power systems, substation engineering, or Protection & Controls.
• Familiarity with protective relays and electrical protection principles.
• Understanding of relay coordination, fault analysis, and differential protection.
• Knowledge of arc-flash studies and electrical safety concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–35%.

Responsibilities

• Support design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Protection & Controls systems for transformers, substations, and high-voltage equipment.
• Assist with protective relay settings, programming, troubleshooting, and coordination.
• Perform or support short-circuit, relay coordination, differential protection, and arc-flash studies.
• Work with protective relays, including SEL, Hitachi, and similar manufacturers.
• Review and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection logic.
• Participate in field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of transformers and associated protection equipment.
• Analyze electrical test results and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, field technicians, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
