Job summary

Skill is seeking a Junior Digital Manufacturing Analyst for a 100% remote, long-term contract (20-30 hours/week) to support enterprise data analytics and dashboard scaling across US facilities. You will build and standardize dashboards using Power BI and Python, audit plant data signals, and support SPC charting.

Entry-level to early-career professionals (0-2 years) will gain hands-on experience with plant engineers and seeq training, with full company-sponsored training on Seeq.

Qualifications

• Education: Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Reliability), Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity or experience with data analysis and BI tools (Python, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms). Full training provided on Seeq.
• Process Understanding: Foundational awareness of manufacturing process data, signals (pressure, temperature, current), and basic statistical process control concepts.
• Mindset: Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated for remote work, curious about manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development & Standardization: Update, enhance, and standardize manufacturing dashboards across multiple plant locations.
• Manufacturing Data Auditing & Analysis: Gather, clean, and audit plant production and equipment signal data across databases.
• Process Performance Monitoring: Build and maintain SPC charts and visualizations to support process control and investigations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with plant engineers, reliability specialists, and remote data teams to refine metrics and tools.
