The City of New York’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) seeks Judicial Hearing Officers (JHOs) to adjudicate civil summonses for NYC enforcement agencies. JHOs conduct hearings, review evidence, and issue written decisions.

They work off-site and may hear matters remotely by phone, with up to 1,000 hours annually at the hourly rate noted. Minimum qualifications include a New York law license and three years of post-admission experience.

Qualificações

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• Three years of relevant legal experience after admission to the bar.
