Casey Family Programs seeks a senior consultant to provide expert court and policy guidance across jurisdictions, partnering with courts, attorneys, and child welfare agencies. The role focuses on reducing foster care reliance through informed practice and collaboration.

Responsibilities include leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing curricula, managing projects and budgets, and partnering with national organizations to advance judicial best practices. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active license to practice law.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal representation experience in child welfare.
• Demonstrated leadership at local, state, and national levels in advancing best practices.
• Extensive experience as legal education faculty or presenter.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert consultation to judicial systems to safely reduce the number of children in foster care.
• Influence courts, attorneys, and court administrators on safe-reduction practices and collaboration.
• Lead multi-disciplinary collaboration between courts, child welfare agencies, and site teams.
• Develop and administer legal practice projects, budgets, and ROI/impact measurements.
• Partner with national organizations to improve legal representation and judicial practices.
