Casey Family Programs is seeking a nationally recognized expert to lead the Indian Child & Family Well‑being work. The Director will provide consultation to Tribal Nations and government partners, promote Tribal sovereignty, and advance Casey’s mission through policy and practice that improve Native American families’ well‑being.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, drive culturally tailored services, and lead efforts to strengthen tribal capacity and reduce

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years of experience; JD preferred.
• Knowledge of ICWA, tribal child welfare practices, funding resources, and related laws.
• Experience collaborating with government agencies and Tribes to advance policy and programmatic goals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; must pass a criminal background.
• Demonstrated contract management experience and ability to allocate resources across projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Denver and manage high travel demands.

• Provide direct consultation with Tribes and Tribal organizations to advance ICWA policy and practice.
• Develop Tribally informed policy and programmatic responses based on data.
• Collaborate with Casey teams, Tribes, and external partners to educate decision-makers.
• Coordinate relationships with federal, state, and Tribal leaders to implement culturally tailored approaches.
• Oversee project plans, budgets, and resources while ensuring work-life balance.
