Job summary

Twoconnect is seeking a Joinery Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial fit-out and specialist joinery projects. The role involves reviewing tender documentation, performing quantity take-offs, calculating material and labour costs, and securing supplier pricing to support bids through to handover.

You'll liaise with workshop teams and project managers, identify risk and value-engineering opportunities, and present clear cost breakdowns for internal review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience within commercial fit-out or joinery.
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction methods and materials.
• Ability to interpret drawings and prepare accurate cost breakdowns.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review tender packs, drawings and specs to define scope.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and estimates.
• Obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Identify risks, scope gaps and value-engineering opportunities.
• Update estimates after design revisions and changes.
• Support tender submissions through to handover.
