Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract role to sustain a command-and-control system for the Mobility Air Force. You will guide development, deploy updates, and help grow less experienced team members, while ensuring secure, scalable software on Agile teams.

The position involves test automation with tools like Selenium and Cypress, automated via CI/CD pipelines, and a focus on cloud-native deployments and security scans.

Qualifications

• SE III with 8+ years of experience or 10 years total.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; if no degree, three extra years of experience.
• Secret Security Clearance; DoD or federal government experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, document, and install under Development lead.
• Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Review and refactor code, participate in design discussions.
• Write clean, scalable Java/C# code and maintain documentation.
• Help implement secure coding practices and run automated security scans.
• Utilize automation to improve efficiency and security of processes.
• Support junior developers' work and contribute to CI/CD improvements.
