Qualifications

• 7–12+ years in Java enterprise application development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful services.

• Experience in a regulated government context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Modernization & Refactoring: modernize a legacy app using Spring Boot, Cloud, and Java 17+.
• Microservices: split monoliths into independent modules with REST/event-driven communication.
• Integration: connect with EPA systems, databases, and APIs ensuring data consistency.
• Security: enforce authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
• Testing & Quality: write unit/integration/e2e tests, conduct code reviews, mentor juniors.
