Job summary

Intone Inc is seeking a seasoned Java Full-Stack Developer for a remote, 6+ month contract. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with Spring Boot and microservices, and you’ll own RESTful endpoints end-to-end.

You will work with relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL, implement TDD, monitor performance via Grafana, and collaborate across teams on architecture and code quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot experience.
• Relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Service-Driven Design (SDD) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with system and performance monitoring tools (Grafana).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, SSO).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium).
• Excellent organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter capable of delivering with minimal supervision.
• Strong team collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production Java services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Write clean, performant code at scale with strong emphasis on test-driven development
• Build and own RESTful API endpoints end-to-end
• Implement and manage relational database solutions (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Own production services including monitoring, debugging, and incident response
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews and architectural decisions
• Monitor system performance using tools such as Grafana
• Implement automated testing strategies using frameworks such as Selenium
