Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a Java backend developer for a contract position based in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on building robust Java/JEE applications with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

The candidate will design scalable backend services, integrate with ESB technologies, and handle data formats across SOAP/REST, XML, and CSV. Six months or longer contract, Atlanta location, on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Java/JEE, Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years of experience developing REST web services.
• 3+ years of experience with Apache Camel and Spring Framework.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot framework and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of scalable microservice architectures and application to real-world problems.
• Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies.
• Experience integrating multiple data formats including SOAP web services, REST web services, XSLT, JAXB, XML parsing, and flat files (CSV, fixed-width).
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
• Knowledge of latest standards and tools in API and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with ActiveMQ and message-driven architectures.
• Experience with Hibernate

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Design and implement REST APIs and web services.
• Build and integrate message-driven systems using ActiveMQ and Apache Camel.
• Architect and implement microservice-based solutions.
