Job summary

Revolutional is seeking an Associate Application Programmer / Java Developer to support a federal client in a dynamic, agile environment. You will develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and RESTful services, participate in all SDLC phases, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.

The role emphasizes modern platform-based architecture, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on security and performance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 1 year of application/Java development experience or similar.
• Strong Java (8+) and Spring Boot proficiency; RESTful services.
• Experience with MVC, JDBC, and modern front-end tech (React/Angular).
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins), and Git.
• Knowledge of AWS services and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile development and CI/CD in a dynamic environment.
• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute across all SDLC stages and write unit tests.
• Implement SonarQube remediation and maintain technical docs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and assist with Help Desk as needed.
