Job summary

TechSur Solutions, LLC, based near the DC metro area, seeks a software developer to renew legacy systems and build modern enterprise microservices. You will participate in a full SDLC within a Scrum team, writing automated tests and enabling automated deployments.

A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in web development are expected, with strong skills in Java, SQL, Go, and modern JS frameworks. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, collaborating across teams, and contributing to

Qualifications

2+ years of open-source web development experience.
Proficiency in Java, SQL, GoLang.
Experience with Junit, Mockito, Playwright.
Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio, Jprofiler, Insomnia, Postman, Git/Github.
Web frontend experience with React or Angular.
Experience with test automation tools like Cucumber and Selenium.
SOA understanding including RESTful APIs (Web API).
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with TDD/BDD frameworks and version control.
Able to participate in code reviews and adapt from feedback.

Responsibilities

Utilize open-source platforms and tools to modernize enterprise apps by redeveloping legacy systems.
Analyze user requirements, input/output data and configuration constraints.
Be part of a scrum team across the full SDLC: requirements, design, dev, QA, deployment.
Develop/modernize enterprise microservice applications and existing apps.
Write automated unit tests to support TDD.
Support QA through verification and validation.
Perform application and security code scans and remediate findings.
Create or maintain CI/CD pipelines.
