Job summary

Jack Henry is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and implement new features across our banking platform. You’ll participate in all phases of the development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

This remote role requires 4+ years in software development, strong Java and OO programming skills, and proficiency in SQL. You’ll work from anywhere within roughly 70 miles of specified office locations, with onsite onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and OO programming concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
• Performs system analysis and programming activities with timely delivery of software into production.
• Provides technical/engineering support for applications from code delivery until retirement.
• Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Uses best practices to create and modify code and considers user impact.
