Job summary

Glean is seeking a Content Marketing Manager, Japan to build our Japanese content marketing engine. You will own Japan's content priorities, lead localization and editorial quality, and create customer stories, blogs, guides, and white papers.

You will partner with Sales and Field Marketing to identify content gaps, develop assets, and plan distribution across digital channels and events. Remote role based in Tokyo, Japan, with a focus on B2B demand generation and enterprise audiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B content marketing experience in enterprise technology or SaaS.
• Native-level Japanese writer with professional English communication.
• Experience with content distribution, activation, and performance measurement.
• Understanding of Japanese enterprise buyers and ability to explain complex tech in business terms.
• Experience with website content, SEO, analytics, customer stories, and demand-generation assets.

Responsibilities

• Own Japan's content priorities and editorial calendar based on local buyer needs and business goals.
• Improve priority Japanese website pages and lead localization and editorial quality for global content.
• Create Japan-native content such as customer stories, blog articles, solution guides, white papers, e-books, and video scripts.
• Build SEO and AIO/GEO programs to improve discovery, engagement, and conversion.
• Develop Japanese customer references and proof points with Sales, CS, Communications, and Legal.
• Partner with Sales and Field Marketing to identify content gaps and develop sales-ready assets.
• Plan major content distribution across digital, events, partners, nurture, and Sales channels.
• Collaborate with partners to co-create content for shared customers and campaigns.
• Manage agencies and freelancers while maintaining messaging and product accuracy.
