Job summary

Healthbay is seeking a detail-oriented IT Technician to support daily IT operations in a fully remote role. The candidate will troubleshoot a wide range of issues, manage hardware/software, and ensure reliable system performance for a remote workforce.

The role requires 1–3+ years in IT support, familiarity with Windows/macOS, basic networking, and experience with ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira. CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years IT support or technical roles.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, chat, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and apps.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and system access.
• Support network connectivity, VPN access, and cloud platforms.
• Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing systems.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure IT policies and cybersecurity standards are followed.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding from IT perspective.
