Job summary

Serco is seeking a Part-time, remote Training Specialist to support a federal government client. You will design, develop, and deliver instruction across multiple software platforms, create guides, and provide virtual training sessions.

Your background includes a BA/BS, 5 years in computer systems instruction and ISD-based curriculum development, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel (10%) may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of work experience in computer systems instruction and instructional design.
• Apply formal ISD methodologies to curriculum development tasks.
• Familiarity with a variety of instructional technologies.
• Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Office Suite, Office365, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer relations skills.
• Ability to travel 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Information Systems and Technology Services department of a government agency.
• Provide technical documentation and training for hardware and software used by agency staff.
• Design, develop, and update agency-specific learning content.
• Develop and update user guides, handouts, and job aids.
• Provide instruction virtually and/or deliver learning programs for applications used by the Agency, including AgilQuest, GovTA, SharePoint, WebTA, VDI, MS Office Suite, Office365, Zoom and more.
