Job summary

Whatnot is transforming live commerce with a global IT footprint. We seek an IT Support Engineer who owns the IT support queue, administers Okta and Google Workspace, and drives automation to improve service delivery across the company.

You will partner with Security, Finance, Marketing/Events, and People teams to empower employees and ensure seamless onboarding to offboarding experiences. Strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on Okta administration including user provisioning and SSO configuration
• Google Workspace administration with security settings
• Jira Service Management or similar SLA‑oriented ticketing experience
• Slack and Zoom administration for user management
• Strong onboarding/offboarding processes design and execution
• Ability to meet and maintain SLAs in a fast queue
• Experience building automations in workflow tools
• macOS support expertise and user training
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for executives

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the IT support queue in Jira Service Management, ensuring SLA compliance
• Administer user accounts and access across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other apps
• Execute onboarding and offboarding with security and user experience in mind
• Provide local IT support for office employees including in-person troubleshooting
• Build automations in JSM, Okta Workflows, and iPaaS tools to reduce manual work
• Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Travel to other offices/events to provide onsite support
• Collaborate with Security, Finance, Marketing/Events, People to improve IT experience
