Job summary

Care Access is seeking a Manager, IT Systems Engineering to lead secure, scalable technology operations across distributed clinical sites and remote work environments.

The role focuses on enterprise networking, cloud services, automation, and high-performing technical teams to enable growth and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in IT infrastructure and 5+ years in leadership, with strong Azure/M365, security, and vendor-management skills.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, operations, or service delivery, including at least three years of experience leading technical teams.
• Five or more years of experience in an IT management or technical leadership role.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed environments and managing enterprise networks, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint platforms, and complex technology initiatives.
• Strong communication, vendor management, budgeting, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Preferred: ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco/Meraki, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network connectivity, including SD-WAN, VPN, LAN/WAN—monitoring, upgrades, and new-site deployments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of network infrastructure through segmentation, monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and business continuity planning.
• Manage network vendors, contracts, licensing, budgets, hardware lifecycle planning, and operational metrics.
• Lead IT enterprise solutions management for Azure, M365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Lead device provisioning and lifecycle management using Intune and JAMF.
• Identify, design, implement, and govern automation solutions leveraging AI to streamline IT operations.
• Ensure enterprise AI solutions (ChatGPT, CoPilot) are properly deployed and adopted.
• Serve as Technical Lead for infrastructure, cloud, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Develop IT project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
