Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead hands-on technical teams delivering healthcare solutions on Azure with a .NET stack. This remote role emphasizes DevSecOps, AI-enhanced engineering, and cross-team collaboration to align outcomes with business priorities.

You will drive roadmap execution, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor engineers while promoting a culture of rapid prototyping and thoughtful engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years OO software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years supervisory experience mentoring and developing teams.
• Deep Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.
• Agile/Scrum experience with iterative development and rapid POC delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery for internal and external healthcare systems.
• Act as the senior engineer by designing components, writing high-quality code, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing rigorous code reviews.
• Build scalable, cloud-native solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack while driving engineering excellence.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding, define secure and maintainable code review standards, and ensure sound engineering judgment.
• Own engineering practices for AI-backed features including context and retrieval over organization data, evaluation and monitoring, PHI-safe prompting and logging, and human review points.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and other engineering teams to define integration strategies and solution blueprints.
