Creative Planning is hiring a Support Services I Specialist to start a career in professional IT support. You will provide frontline remote assistance and document solutions as you grow your technical skills across enterprise clients.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years IT experience, know Windows OS, basic networking, RDS, and wireless tech. Training and documentation practices are emphasized, with clear communication and ownership of tasks encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical IT experience or relevant education.
• Knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Basic networking concepts: TCP/IP and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Network components (switches, hubs, patch panels).
• Remote Desktop Services experience.
• Wireless technologies familiarity.
• 2-year MIS/IT Tech program is a plus; certifications not required but pursued later.

Responsabilités

• Provide frontline remote support to clients, aiming to resolve issues on first contact.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to grow the knowledge base.
• Communicate progress, next steps, and timelines clearly to clients.
• Manage client expectations regarding costs, timelines, and solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge.
• Track and document daily activities and time allocation.
• Collaborate with dispatch to coordinate additional resources.
• Learn from experienced team members while supporting diverse client environments.
