Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Technician to join our growing team. The role is fast-paced and requires proficient troubleshooting, excellent customer service, and patience, with remote client support and occasional on-site visits.

Key responsibilities include triaging hardware/software issues across Windows/macOS, managing help desk requests, and assisting migrations to the cloud. A hybrid work arrangement is available with mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

3–5 years IT experience providing remote or on-site end-user support.
Certifications such as A+, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, CCNA preferred.
Experience supporting HP, Dell, Intel, or Lenovo hardware.
Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012–2022.
Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper‑V, VMware ESXi).
Strong Active Directory, DNS, DHCP understanding.
Networking knowledge including switches, VLANs, routing, firewalls (WatchGuard, SonicWALL, Cisco, Fortinet).
Microsoft 365 administration.
Experience with wireless network management.
At least 1 year in customer service or office support role.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware and software on Windows client OS, macOS, and Windows Server OS.
Handle help desk requests via phone, email, or chat; document resolutions in ticketing system.
Oversee on-prem to cloud projects (Exchange to O365, server virtualization and cloud migration).
Travel to customer locations for onsite visits; mileage reimbursement provided.
Create CSRs and private keys; install/configure on web servers like IIS.
