Job summary

TECH5 USA, Inc. is hiring a Remote Support Engineer to deploy, manage, and support customer production systems for legacy on-premises and new SaaS offerings, including AWS GovCloud. Primary duties include configuration, incident response, and coordination with engineering and QA.

Applicants must have IT/CS background, customer-facing experience, and ability to travel up to 5%. Position is full-time, remote but requires residency within Arizona; on-call rotation and security training are part of

Qualifications

Associates degree or higher in IT/CS/CE or cert; equivalent work exp.
Minimum 1 year in a Helpdesk environment with customer interaction and ticket management.
Minimum 1 year of client-server system experience.
Hands-on experience building/troubleshooting PCs and peripherals.
Basic networking knowledge and ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Knowledge of SQL scripting is a plus; Salesforce, Zendesk, JIRA experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Communicate with internal teams and customers to plan and review implementation status.
Monitor logging and alerting to ensure high availability and reliability.
Install/configure TECH5-provided hardware/software and guide contracted staff.
Contribute to processes/templates for customer project implementation.
Coordinate with Project Implementation for deployment, documentation, repair, and troubleshooting.
Submit to background checks as required by customers.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and travel up to 5%.
Respond to support requests during work/on-call hours via email, helpdesk, and phone.
