Job summary

DLH Corporation in the Washington, DC area seeks an Application Developer/IT Analyst to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into practical, low-code solutions that streamline business processes.

You will support end-user needs, create SOPs and training materials, and work with Google AppSheet, Google Workspace, and Slack to improve efficiency while upholding security and ITIL/AGILE practices. This role includes daily client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, business, mathematics, or related field with 2 years IT experience or an associate degree with 4 years IT experience.
Experience translating end-user needs into technical requirements for COTS/GOTS applications.
ITIL and Agile knowledge and application in enterprise environments.
Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholder groups.
Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating user needs into functional application solutions.
Create and maintain project artifacts, including business requirements, process flows, solution designs, and implementation documentation.
Develop end-user documentation, SOPs, user guides, quick reference materials, FAQs, and training resources.
Design, configure, and maintain low-code business applications (Google AppSheet, Google Sites).
Provide application support, troubleshooting, and incident management within SLAs.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access for business applications with security compliance.
Coordinate and support UAT, validating functionality and incorporating user feedback.
Execute functional, regression, and basic automated testing prior to implementation.
Act as power user for enterprise productivity and mission-support apps; guide end users.
Deliver instructor-led and one-on-one training sessions for adoption.
Monitor performance, identify recurring issues, and propose improvements.
Collaborate with developers, admins, and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
Maintain records of incidents and service requests in ITSM.
Support IT change management activities for updates and enhancements.
Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction with remote and onsite support.
