Job summary

District Tech Group Incorporated seeks an IT Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure and security solutions for diverse client environments. You will work across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architectures to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions.

The role involves deploying security tools, automating operations, creating documentation, and collaborating with SOC/GRC teams to address assessments and remediation while staying current with evolving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions and deployment.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Deploy and configure security tools including EDR, SIEM, and identity management solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for client environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in security assessments and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with SOC and GRC teams on integrated security solutions.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and security trends.
