Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective IT solutions and process improvements.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Provide advanced technical support to employees and clients through remote and on-site assistance.
• Manage system upgrades, patch installations, and security updates to ensure optimum performance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for technical problems and implement long-term corrective measures.
• Configure and maintain cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud solutions.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect company networks, data, and digital assets.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and compliance audits.
• Develop technical documentation, guides, SOPs, and training material for internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand requirements and deliver tailored IT solutions.
• Assist in planning and execution of IT projects, including migrations, deployments, and integrations.
• Maintain and monitor data backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity systems.
• Oversee user account management, permissions, access control, and identity management.
• Manage IT inventory, licensing, and procurement of hardware/software resources.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks.
• Support cybersecurity incident response, log monitoring, and threat detection activities.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO, NIST, HIPAA, or SOC2, depending on business needs.
• Participate in team meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
