Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our Modern Workplace Services (MWS) team. You will receive service requests, create tickets in SHI’s system, and dispatch work orders to Field Service Technicians for IT and POS hardware repairs in a remote, 24/7 operation.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Prior dispatcher or call center experience is preferred, with familiarity in Microsoft Teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Dispatcher or call center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience using SharePoint for documents and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests and create tickets for technicians.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers via phone, Teams, and email.
• Monitor and oversee call assignments to ensure proper dispatch.
• Make system corrections based on field feedback.
• Monitor email for service requests and critical communications.
• Update technician schedules to reflect changes.
• Verify complete customer information for dispatch.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
