Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking an IT Manager to own evaluation, deployment, and operationalization of tools and technologies enabling Bitwarden teams worldwide. You will manage digital and physical assets, assist with procurement, and support cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance initiatives.

The role is remote within the United States, with no visa sponsorship offered. You will collaborate across a distributed workforce and help advance Bitwarden's security posture and tech evangelism.

• Experience implementing and refining IT and security compliance frameworks.
• Ability to maintain discretion and security best-practices.
• Technocrat mindset and staying current with tech trends.
• Excellent communication skills in a distributed environment.
• Enthusiasm for open source and internet security.
• Strong problem-solving and solution communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital employee onboarding experience from equipment orders to account setup and provisioning.
• Manage software and hardware vendors, research, sourcing, and procurement.
• Maintain the Bitwarden inventory of laptops and licensed software distributed globally.
• Serve as the go-to person for access, configuration, and support of tools across the company.
• Assist with managing and transforming cloud infrastructure and networks.
• Manage VPNs and other restricted access systems.
• Assist with pilots of new technologies, tools, and processes.
• Help manage and improve compliance frameworks and certifications (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Contribute to Bitwarden's presence in SecOps through forums, conferences, articles, and support.
