Job summary

Voya Financial is seeking an IT Security Manager to lead a team of 8–10 engineers focused on authentication, API security, and web security platform delivery. You will drive priorities, establish clear ownership, and implement structured intake processes to scale security services across customer‑facing platforms.

You will partner with Digital, Application Development, and Business teams to translate business requests into actionable work, oversee delivery across IBM Verify Identity/ISVA,

Qualifications

• 7+ direct reports preferred.
• Strong IAM/auth/web security experience.
• Experience with workflows, SLAs, dashboards, and delivery tracking.
• Experience collaborating with development or digital teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 8–10 engineers focused on authentication, API security, and web security platform delivery.
• Drive team productivity, accountability, and output optimization.
• Establish clear ownership, priorities, and expectations across the team.
• Build structured intake processes for work requests from digital/application teams.
• Transition from ad hoc tracking to formal workflow management (ServiceNow).
• Define SLAs, prioritization models, and delivery timelines.
• Implement tracking, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Ensure visibility into work status, throughput, and outcomes.
• Partner with Digital, Application Development, and Business teams.
• Translate business requests into structured, actionable work for the team.
• Liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Communicate delivery timelines, risks, and outcomes clearly.
• Oversee delivery and configuration across IBM Verify Identity, IBM DataPower, and other IAM solutions.
• Ensure secure, scalable support of customer-facing applications.
• Guide the team in changes, enhancements, and configurations.
• Drive continuous improvement in work execution and governance.
