Job summary

Voya Financial is seeking an IT Security Manager to lead a team responsible for authentication, authorization, and web security across customer-facing platforms. You will drive governance, intake, and workflow improvements while engaging with Digital, App Development, and Business teams.

The role is remote with periodic onsite collaboration from one of several office locations. A strong background in IAM, security operations, and leadership is required to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ direct reports experience managing technical teams.
• Strong IAM or web security expertise.
• Experience building and improving workflow processes and dashboards.
• Experience partnering with application development or digital teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for authentication, API security, and web security platform delivery.
• Drive team productivity, accountability, and output optimization.
• Establish clear ownership, priorities, and expectations across the team.
• Build and enforce structured intake processes for work requests from digital/application teams.
• Transition the team from ad hoc tracking to formal workflow management.
• Define SLAs, prioritization models, and delivery timelines.
• Implement tracking, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
