Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking an IT Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security tools for the enterprise.

The role supports 2nd- and 3rd-tier incident response and collaborates with internal IT and business stakeholders to strengthen information security. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of cybersecurity experience, with exposure to MFA, certificate management, cloud and endpoint security, and web application

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Business or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related technical discipline.
• Exposure to Certificate Management, Cloud Application security tools, endpoint security tools, web application firewalls, certificate management, and/or MFA.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose problems affecting information security tools and systems, providing 2nd and 3rd tier operational support.
• Analyze, design, develop and implement security solutions to protect information assets while enabling business functions.
• Provide information security expertise and consulting to internal IT, business staff and stakeholders.
• Manage lifecycle of products and solutions to ensure capacity, integrity, and availability of security systems.
• Align technologies with CNO’s security framework and overall strategy.
• Plan, design, implement, and maintain security-related technologies.
• Ensure new/existing products comply with security policies and best practices.
• Research emerging technologies to support enterprise operations.
• Review system designs for compliance with standards.
