Job summary

Technical Support International is seeking a Security and Compliance Engineer to enhance client security postures and manage risk across multiple environments. The role focuses on threat management, security assessments, and policy development for clients in New England and beyond.

You will analyze environments, coordinate data gathering, and generate solutions while assisting with investigations related to security breaches. Travel for on-site assessments may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 6–8 years IT experience with minimum 4 years in Cyber Security.
• One or more industry security certifications required (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISSAP, ISSEP).
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux environments.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, CIS Controls, and other security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on security operations and risk.
• Document vulnerability assessments and mitigation plans.
• Monitor and validate client security controls and respond to incidents.
• Develop security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Create network diagrams and documentation for security changes.
• Lead incident response to minimize impact and determine cause.
