Job summary

Networking Technologies + Support (NTS) is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and support secure enterprise network architectures with a strong emphasis on CMMC compliance. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to integrate security controls and advanced networking technologies in regulated environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in securing enterprise infrastructures, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• Experience supporting organizations with CMMC compliance (Required).
• 5–10+ years of enterprise networking and security engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure enterprise network architectures.
• Design and maintain environments that meet CMMC requirements.
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with industry best practices.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and security architecture documentation.
• Implement and support firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, NAC, and secure remote access solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate secure network solutions into client environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
