Job summary

Technical Metal Specialties Inc. is seeking an Information Security and Compliance Specialist in New Berlin, WI. The role focuses on governing and enforcing security policies, managing CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 compliance, and ensuring audit readiness with structured documentation and risk management.

The position also provides limited Tier 1/2 IT support to stay aligned with systems and workflows, with a 1st shift/full-time schedule and a compensation potential up to $85,000/year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 3 years of related experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 compliance program.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prepare and maintain System Security Plan (SSP) and POA&M.
• Identify compliance gaps and implement remediation actions.
• Maintain audit evidence and verifiable controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and document findings.
• Coordinate with IT and business units to align controls with operations.
• Validate access control, endpoint security, and data handling practices.
• Support incident tracking, review, and lessons learned.
