Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an IT Risk & Controls Auditor to support our Digital Assets engagements in a remote consulting capacity. You will assess controls tied to financial reporting, compliance, and IT operations, and test ITGC domains across change management, access, and systems development.

Collaborating with stakeholders, you will document findings, propose remediation, and help close issues while applying COSO/COBIT guidance and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial reporting and information technology risks, processes, and controls.
• Experience with current and emerging technologies such as Oracle or SAP, Oracle Database, web development tools, virtualization, UNIX, Linux, and security technologies.
• Working knowledge of COSO, COBIT, or similar business and IT control frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing and evaluating ITGC domains, including change management, access to programs and data, computer operations, and systems development.
• Experience in audit, assurance, or risk management within technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology risk and controls audit and assurance support for digital asset engagements.
• Assess and test controls related to financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes.
• Evaluate business process and IT management controls against established frameworks.
• Review and assess IT general controls across change management, access, operations, and systems development.
• Document findings, develop remediation recommendations, and support issue closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align control activities with risk objectives.
