Job summary

Sdna is seeking an energetic IT Recruiter Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will learn and execute the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for niche software engineering and data roles, collaborating with senior recruiters to source, screen, coordinate interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

You will gain practical exposure to sourcing strategies, ATS management, and candidate engagement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BSc) or MBA/PGDM in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Technical Aptitude: Curiosity and willingness to quickly grasp technical jargon, software skill sets, and tech stack requirements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for professional candidate interaction.
• Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to build a career in technical recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Talent Mapping: Learn to utilize job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, TalentXO) and Boolean search strings to identify qualified technical candidates.
• Resume Screening: Initial evaluation of candidate profiles against client job descriptions across skills like SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering.
• Candidate Engagement: Conduct preliminary phone screenings to check candidate interest, availability, CTC expectations, and notice periods.
• Interview Coordination: Schedule and align candidate interviews with technical panels and client stakeholders; manage reminders and status tracking.
• ATS & Database Management: Maintain up-to-date candidate records, tracker sheets, and status pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Stakeholder Support: Assist senior recruiters in preparing job descriptions, candidate summary sheets, and daily/weekly hiring reports.
