Job summary

GovCIO LLC is seeking a fully remote IT Recruiter for its Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team, supporting the full lifecycle of recruiting. The role is based in the United States with occasional onsite work in Fairfax, VA, and candidates should be local to the DC/DMV area.

The IT Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment, use an ATS to track activity, and build strong relationships with project leaders, while sourcing candidates with AI tools and coordinating interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of staffing and recruiting experience.
• 5+ years of staffing and recruiting experience.
• Hands-on iCIMS experience.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, or Clearance Jobs.
• Experience supporting cleared and uncleared programs.
• High-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• US Citizenship to obtain Public Trust or a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain direct working relationships with Project managers, Program Directors, and VPs from requisition through Hire.
• Receive and review requisitions for accuracy; post and market career opportunities using web and social media.
• Use AI tools to source and prescreen candidates.
• Participate in and/or schedule interviews; assist managers with quality assurance of skills match.
• Discuss and verify clearances as part of the recruiting process.
• Negotiate offers and track all requisition and candidate activity in the ATS.
• Provide hiring manager updates on requisition status and candidate quality checks using skills matrices.
• Develop unique candidate pipelines in the ATS.
• Ensure all incoming candidate applications are dispositioned within 24 hours.
• Maintain contact with hard-to-find candidates to keep them in pipelines.
• Participate in Talent Team or Management Stakeholder meetings as necessary.
• Attend on-site and virtual hiring events as needed.
