GovCIO is hiring an IT Recruiter for its Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team. This remote role with occasional onsite work in Fairfax, VA requires local DC/DMV area candidates.

The candidate should have 5+ years of staffing experience, proficiency with iCIMS, and familiarity with major job boards to satisfy high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment. US citizenship for clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of recruiting experience.

• Experience recruiting for both cleared and uncleared programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain direct relationships with project managers, program directors, and VPs throughout requisitions.
• Review requisitions for accuracy and post market career opportunities via web and social platforms.
• Source and prescreen candidates using AI tools.
• Schedule interviews, verify skills match and clearances, and manage offer letters.
• Track requisition and candidate activity in the ATS and disposition applications within 24 hours.
• Build candidate pipelines and engage hard-to-find talent for diverse needs.

Job description

GovCIO is currently hiring for an IT Recruiter to join our Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team. This position will be located within the United States and will be a fully remote opportunity with occasional onsite work in Fairfax, VA. Candidates should be local to the DC/DMV area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong direct relationships with Project managers, Program Directors, and Vice Presidents, from the requisition through Hire
• Receive and carefully review requisitions for accuracy, post and market career opportunities via web and social media platforms.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to source and prescreen candidate
• Participate and/or schedules interviews, assists managers with quality assuring requisite skills match, discusses and verifies clearances, negotiates contingent and firm offer letters, and tracks all requisition and candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Communicates with hiring manager on the status of requisitions, candidate quality checks with skills matrixes, develops unique candidate pipelines in the ATS, and ensures all incoming candidate applications are dispositioned within 24 hours.
• Maintains contact with hard to find skilled candidates using various communication techniques to ensure candidates who are interested are kept within various pipelines.
• Participates in Talent Team or Management Stakeholder meetings as necessary
• Participates in ad hoc Proposal staffing when necessary
• Attend on-site and virtual hiring events when needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of staffing/recruiting experience
• Hands on experience with iCIMS is required
• Hands on experience with at least one of the following job boards (LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, Clearance Jobs)
• Experience in both cleared and uncleared programs
• Demonstrated experience supporting high volume hiring needs in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Clearance Required

US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain Public Trust or an active security clearance, that may be required

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Federal Civilian agency recruiting experience (i.e. USCG, PBGC, DEA, USPTO, GPO, HHS, NIH, FDA, TSA, CISA, FEMA)
• Hands on experience or knowledge of Microsoft Copilot is key
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Knowledge of EEOC policies

Posted Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
