Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Project Scheduler for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. The role will develop, monitor, and maintain detailed IT schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools, ensuring alignment of timelines, dependencies, and resources to deliver within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field.
• Minimum of five years as a project scheduler in IT or related industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with dependency management, critical path analysis, and resource planning across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with IT project scope, deliverables, and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to define tasks, dependencies, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Track progress, update schedules, and prepare schedule documentation and status reports for leadership.
• Monitor resource allocation across multiple projects and identify conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Conduct critical path analyses and mitigation planning with project managers.
• Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to gather updates and refine plans.
• Take on additional tasks to support team objectives and project success.
