Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking a Project Manager to oversee remote, Boston-area customer projects from initiation through closure. You will work with clients, delivery teams, vendors, and executives to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and success criteria align with approved objectives.

The role requires 4+ years in IT services or consulting project management, strong stakeholder leadership, and effective communication. Remote/hybrid work is supported; travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Four+ years of PM experience with customer-facing responsibility in IT services/consulting.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and change control.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from startup to closure using PMO methodology and governance.
• Confirm scope, milestones, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Lead client-facing kickoff, governance, and closeout meetings.
• Maintain RAID logs and track risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
• Coordinate activities of internal teams, partners, and vendors across projects.
• Monitor financials, billings, revenue, and forecasts; report variances.
• Ensure change control and scope alignment with the SOW.
