Job summary

AFL, headquartered in Duncan, South Carolina, seeks an Information Technology Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects across the enterprise. You will oversee resources, on-board contractors, build business cases, and ensure processes align with IT PMO standards, including expanding ServiceNow capabilities.

The role reports to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications and involves 25% travel, both domestic and international, with a remote work component.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Software Engineering or Business management.
• 8–10 years direct work experience in a project management capacity.
• 5–8 years direct experience leading IT projects.
• Experience leading business transformation and organizational change management initiatives.
• Proven leadership and excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Build solid business cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage the portfolio of prioritized IT projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead IT projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Train team leaders and other project managers to ensure consistent project delivery.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Regularly report project status to stakeholders.
• Lead the Business Analysis of ServiceNow requirements as we evolve IT project processes.
