Job summary

New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a professional Business Analyst to support the Automated Trial Court Services Unit (ATCSU). You will gather requirements, analyze workflows, design user interfaces, plan projects, test systems and train users while coordinating with court staff and IT teams across the state.

The role includes potential for up to 3 days of remote work in a hybrid schedule, with regular on-site presence required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, business analytics, data analytics and/or cybersecurity.
• Substitutions: additional IT paraprofessional/professional experience or related experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis; a bachelor’s or associate degree and one year of related experience may substitute for the required education.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to computer science or IT may substitute for the required education.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and document processes for IT projects.
• Perform system testing and provide user training and support.
• Collaborate with court case processing managers, IT staff and other stakeholders on large-scale IT projects.
• Participate in planning, design and implementation of IT solutions and ensure security and compliance requirements.
