Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Chicago seeks an IT Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain critical connections between our IT systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency in healthcare workflows. You will design, develop, test, and implement integration solutions, troubleshoot data exchange issues, and participate in on-call rotations.

Remote eligible; experience with HL7 and HIPAA transactions is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, technology, medical or business.
• 4-5 years of relevant integration experience.
• Understanding of hospital workflows (clinical or revenue cycle).

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains integration solutions.
• Participates in on-call rotations and major incident resolution.
• Leads application development for a single functional area to achieve objectives.
• Emphasis on Clinical and Revenue Cycle Management product lines and workflow.
• Coordinates code/peer reviews to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Remote eligible.
