Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) in St. Louis, MO is seeking an IT Project Manager – Intermediate Level. This role is mostly remote with 1 day onsite per month and is a W2 contract-to-hire engagement.

You will lead projects from initiation through completion, develop detailed plans, manage budgets and vendors, and coordinate diverse stakeholders. Strong communication, organization, and accountability are essential to drive execution and deliver results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience, preferably IT infrastructure.
• Proven full lifecycle project management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience managing vendors and project budgets.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through completion.
• Develop, own, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholders, assign and track tasks, and follow up to ensure commitments are met.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify obstacles early and drive issues toward resolution.
• Manage third-party vendors and hold them accountable for schedules and deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets, invoices, forecasts, and related financial activities.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
