ZipStaff Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager III to lead IT and digital initiatives for a major energy or utility client on-site in St. Louis, MO.

This contract role requires strong delivery skills across predictive/waterfall, Agile and hybrid methods, with emphasis on scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and governance. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, and report progress to leadership. On-site presence in St.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in medium to large organizations.
• Experience managing technology projects using predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong planning, scheduling, financial management, risk/issue/change management skills.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT/Digital projects from planning through closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, RAID items, and status reporting.
• Coordinate activities and dependencies across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Manage concurrent projects spanning applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, and vendor solutions.
• Facilitate project meetings, governance, and change control.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variances.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive accountability for project commitments and elevate issues when appropriate.
• Ensure projects follow applicable project governance and control processes.
