Job summary

Allegion in the United States is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead infrastructure and security initiatives across global teams. The role requires 5–7+ years of leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, and credentials such as PMP or CSM.

You will manage roadmaps, budgets, risks, and coordinate with security, infrastructure and architecture to drive successful outcomes and adoption, while ensuring governance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7+ years leading infrastructure and operations projects.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Information Technology or related discipline).
• PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or relevant security credentials (e.g., CISSP) are highly preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, global, matrixed environments across different time zones and cultures.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure (servers, networking, storage).
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, threat mitigation, and industry security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficient in PM software/tools and foundational Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure refreshes, enhancements, and cybersecurity remediation roadmaps.
• Track project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while following Global Portfolio Management processes and lifecycle gate criteria.
• Track commit dates versus actual delivery, identify risks, and escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary.
• Ensure business value and outcome targets are defined andValue realization is monitored throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant project documentation and status reporting.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Architecture to ensure technical alignment of proposed solutions.
• Assist in managing vulnerability remediation and system patching efforts.
• Monitor operational metrics to identify bottlenecks or security gaps.
• Maintain compliance standards, system documentation, and audit readiness for IT operations.
• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution among engineers, analysts, and leaders.
• Act as a servant-leader by removing impediments and guiding the team through problem-solving.
• Develop and implement change management strategies for smooth adoption and readiness.
• Collaborate with IT procurement regarding PO and invoices; assist in business analysis, sourcing, and asset management.
