Job summary

ClearCaptions, LLC. seeks an IT Financial Planner to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for key technology systems, including cloud platforms, AI/ML, and SaaS apps.

You will partner with IT and Finance to translate roadmaps into actionable financial plans and provide senior leaders with clear spending analyses. You will build cost models, review pricing and usage data, and drive FinOps practices across cloud and AI platforms, forecasting AI spend and managing budgets with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in financial forecasting, IT finance, and data analysis.
• Experience in IT/telecom or tech environments preferred.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and database/BI tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and track IT spend for cloud, AI, and core infrastructure.
• Build cost models and forecasts for IT projects including licenses and run-rate costs.
• Analyze usage and pricing data from clouds and vendors to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead FinOps practices and provide variance analysis for IT budgeting.
• Communicate insights to senior leaders with clear narratives.
