Job summary

ASR International Corp. is seeking an experienced technical and proposal writer to develop clear, compliant responses for federal IT and cybersecurity opportunities.

You will translate technical input into persuasive narratives and manage outlines, compliance matrices, and past performance content. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in proposal writing for federal IT/cyber contracts, knowledge of NIST RMF and Zero Trust, and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proposal writing experience for federal IT, cybersecurity, or related technical services contracts.
• Ability to write clear technical content on topics such as enterprise IT, cloud environments, cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, RMF, Zero Trust).
• Experience developing or contributing to proposals valued at $10 million or more is preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal proposal processes and compliance; commercial proposal experience is a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (or Public Trust) is preferred for federal work; NO GREEN CARD HOLDERS.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the writing of technical and management volumes for federal IT and cybersecurity proposals.
• Develop proposal technical content for commercial IT and cyber opportunities, adapting tone for private-sector buyers.
• Translate technical input from subject matter experts into compliant, benefit-focused narratives.
• Build and maintain proposal outlines, compliance matrices, past performance narratives, and reusable content.
• Coordinate with Leadership to capture, technical, and pricing staff to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality submissions.
• Support team reviews and incorporate feedback quickly.
