ASRC Federal is seeking a Principal Proposal Writer to lead and shape competitive Federal proposals, ensuring clear, compliant narratives that reflect corporate messaging. This senior role collaborates with Proposal Managers, SMEs and solution architects, translating technical concepts into customer-focused content and managing writing assignments across teams.

The role supports the Proposal Operations Center with standards and quality assurance, travel required occasionally within the DC metro

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of federal proposal writing experience.
• Experience in federal government solicitations and competitive proposals.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of compliant, compelling proposal content for Federal Government solicitations.
• Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Solution Architects, and SMEs to understand approaches, identify discriminators, and articulate key themes.
• Develop technical, management, transition, past performance, resume, and staffing sections aligned with solicitation requirements and corporate messaging.
• Coordinate writing assignments across SMEs, subcontractors, and other proposal writers; ensure voice, clarity, and compliance.
• Interviews with SMEs and translate technical concepts into clear, customer-focused narrative.
• Create annotated outlines and response mockups to guide writing efforts and ensure compliance.
