Job summary

Humana is seeking a Technical Cost Analyst, IT Cost Transparency & Optimization, to analyze infrastructure consumption and financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities. The role collaborates with finance, procurement, and engineers to enable smarter technology investments.

Candidates should have 1–5 years of IT infrastructure/FinOps experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data tools like SQL, Excel, Python, and Tableau. Remote work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Information Systems, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Technology Operations FinOps, IT asset management, IT analytics or related areas.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools; able to create reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical information for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze infrastructure environments (storage, compute, network, cloud, backup, platform services) for cost reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate technology consumption, utilization, capacity, and growth trends using financial data.
• Develop business cases and hypotheses for cost optimization and modernization.
• Create dashboards and analytical models for cost transparency and decision making.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, procurement, and finance to validate assumptions.
